近代中越关系史研究新论——读王志强著《李鸿章与越南问题(1881~1886)》

王志强博士的新作《李鸿章与越南问题(1881~1886)》选题新颖、视角独特;资料丰富翔实、多国多语种史料交叉分析;观点独到而可信。虽然在近代中越关系史的架构、概念及史料分析方面存在不足,但仍不失为近代中越关系史研究值得关注的一部新作。

A Critical Review of the History of Modern Sino-Vietnam Relationship

＂Li Hongchang and Vietnam issues 1881-1886＂ by Wang Zhiqiang not only has the novel topic and unique perspectives, but also provides sufficient resources in the interdisciplinary and multilingual material. Its opinion is both unique and credible, however,There are still pitfalls in the book, such as a few inadequate in the analysis of original material and concept, the history reconstruction in Sino-Vietnam relationship. While it is still a valuable book for reading and its historical value will be focused in the future.
