警察角色是社会角色中的一种 ,他是一种规定性很强的社会角色 ,这种规定性主要表现为法律的规定性。作为公安工作主体的警察角色 ,在社会活动中 ,以什么样的角色形象和行为模式来扮演好警察角色 ,关键要看警察角色意识的强还是弱 ,也就是说警察角色意识的基本要素具备了 ,才能在公安工作中体现出忠于职守 ,清正廉洁 ,纪律严明 ,服从命令 ,严格执法 ,群众满意。
