“Bottoms Up” to Tibet
摘    要:IN the 1980s, a number of young inland dwellers took the long journey to Tibet to experience for themselves its mystic beauty. Many of these early adventurers were artists, musicians and writers. Authoress Ma Lihua lived in Lhasa for nearly 30 years. She says that at that time more artists and writers lived in Lhasa than in any other Chinese city. Artist Cao Yong, who now resides in the U.S., says, "Tibet is where my life force emerged - the place that showed me the true meaning of life."
