恩格斯高度强调方法的意义,甚至把方法强调为马克思主义的核心。所谓方法论就是研究一般性方法和特殊性方法的理论;所谓方法论体系,指诸研究方法之间的关系秩序,也即将所有方法作性质功能的分类、归属、分层、揭示其功能与局限,依据各方法的这些不同所规范出来的一个有高低层次、相互联系的功能结构。方法论体系包含如下五大类方法群:哲学思辨方法、实证方法、规范方法、一般通用方法、特殊理论方法。主体根据研究目的,对各种方法进行选择使用和综合运用。

Engels highly emphasized the significance of methodology.He even emphasized methodology as the core of Marxism.The so-called methodology is the theory of research on ordinary and particular method.Methodological framework means the order of relations among all kinds of research methods.In other words,classifying,attaching,and layering all methods according to their nature and function and revealing their function and limitation,then standardizing them as a functional configuration having high and low layers according to the differences all methods.Methodological framework contained the following five kinds of methodological group:The methods of philosophical speculation,positivism,norm,general and special theories.The main body used various methods selectively and synthetically according to the researching aim.
