缅甸若开邦“罗兴伽人”研究

罗兴伽问题目前成为国际社会关注缅甸的主要议题之一。但是,并没有多少人知道罗兴伽的历史。大多数人并不知道为什么罗兴伽人在极力地把他们的名字从孟加拉人改成罗兴伽人,以及罗兴伽这个名字是怎么出现的。英国殖民者占领若开邦之后,出于政治和经济目的带来了很多的孟加拉人。这是截至目前罗兴伽问题都尚未得到解决的缘起。1948年缅甸独立之后,由于议会政府采取了错误的政策,罗兴伽问题不仅没有得到解决,反而产生了更多的问题。稍后,一些国际组织也介入该问题。本文的写作主要是笔者在若开当地进行的田野调查、访谈和利用了一些原始文件基础上完成的。

Rohingya in Rakhine State of Myanmar

Rohingya issue became one of the main international interests of current situations in Myanmar. However, there are very few people who know about the history of Rohingya. Why the Rohingyas are trying very hard to change their name from Bengali to Rohingya and the emergence of the name of Rohingya are unknown to most of the people. After the oc- cupation of Rakhine by the British, the British brought many Bengalis to Rakhine for the political and economic puq~oses. This is the main cause for the emergence of the Rohingya problem which has had to be solved until now. After the independ- ence of Myanmar, because of the weakness of the Parliament govermnent, the Rohingya problem remained not only unsolved, but more additional problems concerning the Rohingyas also came out. Later, some international organizations are getting in- volved in this problem. This paper is written by conducting field studies, interviews and original documents are used.
