中国传统德治思想及其当代价值

中国传统德治思想以性善论为伦理基础,以“内圣外王”为治国模式,以民本思想为德治方略的核心,以道德教化为施行手段。作为中国古代儒家学派提出的治国理论,传统德治思想促进了生产力的发展,导引着文化的发展方向,强化了中华民族的凝聚力;但同时也存在着严重缺陷和历史局限性。批判地继承传统德治思想,对于提高党的执政能力具有重要的现实意义。

Chinese traditional thought of governing by morality took the idea of 'people born with kind nature' as its basis, the idea of'being a sage inside and a king outside the country' as its way of governing, the idea of ' people being the foundation' as its core ofgoverning strategy, the idea of 'morally civilizing people' as its measures of governing. Such a theory of state- governing, put forward byChinese Confucians, had been promoting production and culture, strengthening the unity of Chinese nationality, nevertheless this thoughthad its great imperfection and times limitations. To critically inherit this thought is of important practical significance to the improvement ofthe CPC's governing capacity.
