As for the nature of art, LI Ze-hou does not hold fast to the same ideas in his early and later works of aesthetics. Generally speaking, Li initially held that art was a specific form to reflect life, later maintained that art was not merely cognition and finally concluded that art was the correspondent of the materialization form of human noumenon.
