评析英美警务社会化发展

新式公共管理和私有化现象已成为大多数西方发达国家的一个特征。英美等国在公共选择理论和新管理主义的指导下，将市场机制引入公共警察机构，将一部分服务职能转移给私营部门和非政府组织，由他们向公众提供以前由公共警察垄断的安全服务，以此来提高警察的工作效率和满足社会公众对公共安全的需求。这对我国的警务社会化工作带来了许多启示和借鉴。
