马来西亚华教运动与华人权益争取——以政治社会学为视角

社会运动自20世纪60年代兴起以来,已成为广大公民争取自身权益,表达利益诉求的重要管道。马来西亚华教运动的形成有其制度根源,在几十年的斗争过程中也积累了一定的经验,能为广大的海外华人及少数族裔争取自身权益提供一定的借鉴意义。虽然马来西亚华教运动在争取华人权益方面发挥了一定作用,但效果有限。这就要求少数族裔除了通过社会运动的方式争取权益外,更要积极培育及鼓励本族群的参政热情,提升本族群的政治话语权,或与国内其他少数族裔形成合力,以形成具有实质影响力的压力集团来影响政府政策的制定。

The Education Movement of Malaysian Overseas Chinese and the Struggling of Overseas Chinese Rights and Interests——from Political Sociological Perspective

Since the rising of social movements in 1960 s,they have become an important channel for the majority citizens fighting for their rights and expressing of their interests and demands. The formation of the education movement of Malaysian overseas Chinese has the institutional causes and it accumulated experiences and lessons in the decades of the struggle process,which can provide reference for the overseas Chinese and minorities to fight for their rights and interests. Although the education movement of Malaysian overseas Chinese plays a certain role,the effect is limited. This requires that ethnic minorities should adopt all kinds of channels to struggle for their rights,especially to cultivate and encourage the enthusiasm of the ethnic group＇s political participation in order to enhance the political discourse by making an alliance with other minorities to form a pressure group in order to influence the government policy makers.
