对云南警官学院组建后的工作思考

云南警官学院在云南公安高等专科学校的基础上顺应形势的发展和需要而诞生 ,在迎来新的发展机遇的同时 ,又面临着更大的挑战。新形势下 ,我们要与时俱进 ,开拓进取 ,坚持社会主义办学方向 ,遵循高等教育规律 ,突出公安特色 ,坚持学历教育与在职培训相结合 ;坚持教学、科研、实践相结合 ,以质量求发展 ,以学科建设为重点 ,全面实施素质教育为主线 ,保障公安工作和队伍建设对公安专门人才的长远需要。

Considerations on the Efforts after the Establishment of Yunnan Police Officer Academy

Yunnan Police Officer Academy came into being in accordance with the situation based on Yunnan Public Security College. It faces greater challenge as well as welcomes new developing opportunity. In the new situation, we will make the following efforts: we will keep going with the times, stick to socialist way to run the academy, follow the rule of higher education and highlight the feature of public security; and firmly combine the degree education with in-service training, integrate teaching, research, practice into one body. At the same time, ensure the long-term demand of public security and staff construction by carrying through the quality education centered on discipline construction.
