对工会基本职责的理论思考

在计划经济体制下,工会在履行代表和维护职工合法权益的职责上,一直显得软弱无力。建立社会主义市场经济体制以来,面对部分职工群众合法权益遭到侵犯的现实,工会“代表和维护”职工群众合法权益的基本职责逐渐显现出来。因此,一方面需要从理论上阐明这一基本职责的重要性。另一方面要通过立法的形式将这一基本职责予以确认。
