What Functions a Service-Oriented Township Government Must Perform

A service-oriented government is a new one that takes it as its goal to protect public interests, takes service as its administrative idea, rule of law as the guiding principle, undertaking public responsibilities as its duties. Its functions can be summarized as follows： providing public products, managing public affairs, fostering the market in rural areas, guiding farmers in developing production, improving social management and maintaining social stability. To change the functions of the township gouernment, we should begin with reform of the government＇ s management system, innovation in management ways and improvement of civil servants＇ quality.
