Evaluation about the Three Women in Anna Karenina

Among the three women characters in Anna Karenina, Tory exists as a mother, and Kitty is a model of good wife and the angel in the family. However, Anna gets far away from the permanent roles a woman has to play. She lives for herself, but can't shake off the inner dependence on men. Those three women have their own charms, and were attached to different forms of bounds of male-based society which is their common point.
