试析中印自由贸易区的建立

中印自由贸易区是中印两国经济相互依存、经贸关系日益密切发展的必然产物,它的建立对两国经济以及亚洲经济的发展具有重要意义。从两国的经济发展状况、国际地位提升、经济改革与开放政策的对接、经贸关系迅速发展以及相关国际机制的推动等几方面看,两国建设自由贸易区是可行的。针对印度承认中国市场经济地位、中印频繁的贸易摩擦、市场准入机会不等以及利益分配不均等建立过程中的障碍问题,中国应努力争取印度早日承认中国的市场经济地位、积极解决两国贸易摩擦、充分阐释建立自由贸易区给两国人民带来的福利、在双边贸易谈判中掌握主动。

A Study of the Establishment of the Sino-Indian Free Trade Area

Sino - India Free Trade Area is an inevitable product of the economic interdependence, growing economic and trade ties between the two countries, which is important to the two economies and Asian economic development as well. As far as the two countries＇ economic development, the promotion of their international status, the link - up between economic reforms and opening - up policies, the rapid development of economic and trade relations and other relevant international mechanisms are concerned, it is feassible to establish Sino - Indian Free Trade Area. In view to some barriers in the course of establishment, such as India＇ s recognition of China＇s market economy status, frequent trade frictions between China and India, the market access opportunities, and unequal distribution of benefits, China should strive to make India recognize China＇s market economy status earlier, positively resolve trade frictions, and fully explain the benefits for the peoples of the two countries to establish a free trade area so that China can catch the initiative in bilateral trade negotiations.
