Post-mortem estimation of gamma-glutamyl transferase in vitreous humor and its association with chronic abuse of alcohol and road-traffic deaths |

| Abstract: | A small survey was undertaken to assess the usefulness of measuring gamma-glutamyl transferase in vitreous. The results show that this enzyme may not be a sensitive test to predict the mortality due to chronic abuse of alcohol in road traffic deaths. |
