| Abstract: | The diagnosis of drowning is one of the most challenging problems in forensic pathology. The estimation cardiac haemodilution is a simple method, but its use is limited by its lack of specificity and sensitivity. We have studied the limitations of this method and have defined the circumstances in which such a technique can be used. |
