The Legal Protection of Non-conventional Trademarks

The 39th AIPPI international conference has carried on the warm discussion on registration of non-conventional trademarks, aiming at advocating making the non-conventional trademarks get the registration in the trademark offices of various countries. Once this system is operated, it will exert a far-reaching influence on the benefit of the trademark to our country and some other developing countries. This text have made statements on the background and causes of the registration of the non-conventional trademarks, and combine these with foreign and region legislative experiences, analyzing the feasibility of law protect to non-conventional, so as to propose some suggestions for our country to meet such challenges.
