| Abstract: | This paper first reveals the connotation of civilization and then elaborates systematically the universality and particularity of its content, the diversity and complementarity of its formation, the positivity and sharability of its value, the continuity and phase of its development as well as the openness and compatibility of its relationship. A correct grasp of these traits is not only an objective requirement for the scientific understanding of the developmental rule of human civilization but also a basic prerequisite for the reinforcement of the construction of socialist civilization. |
