从归纳法的向度审视中国为何无科学--任鸿隽科学观探微

有很多学者讨论过"中国为何无科学"这一问题,答案各不相同.梁漱溟、冯友兰、胡适等人代表了人文学科的学者对这一问题的看法,有隔靴搔痒之感.比较而言,任鸿隽等自然科学家的看法,值得引起我们的高度重视.任鸿隽等人的基本看法是:中国之所以没有科学,最主要的原因是归纳方法从来没有在中国得到过发展;归纳方法是科学方法的实质,归纳方法就是科学方法;要在中国发展科学,就必须首先提倡和宣传归纳方法.

On “Why isn't There Science in China” from the View of Inductive Method

Of the question Why isn't there science in China, different scholars give different answers. The opinions of humanistic scholars, represented by Liang Shuming, Feng Youlan, Hushi and so on, are not quite constructive, while in comparison, the ideas of natural scientists such as Ren Hongjun should be attached with great importance. They hold that the main cause of China's lacking in science is that inductive method, the scientific method, has never been developed in China. Therefore, to develop science in China, it is essential to advocate and propagate inductive method in the first place.
