论孟子的性善伦理思想

人性善说由来已久,但是在孟子以前性善说没有得到系统详细的论述。孟子从人与动物的细微区别上详细阐述了人性本善,并指出了人性虽善,但是人性是可以改变的。为了在后天的生活中保持人的善良本性,不至于使人性变恶,孟子又提出了一系列修养方法。孟子的人性论及其修养方法,在今天仍然具有重要的现实意义。

The doctrine that human nature is naturally good is long-standing,but it wasn't elaborated systematically before Mencius,who did it from slight differences between human beings and animals.Mencius pointed out that although human nature is naturally good,it is changeable.He proposed a series of cultivation ways in order for human beings to maintain good disposition in the life after birth and to prevent human nature from turning wicked.Mencius' theory of human nature and his cultivation ways still have practical significance nowadays.
