Abstract:The need arose to investigate the effect of inhaled ethanol on blood level, in a subject occupationally exposed to the vapour. Under relatively arduous conditions, a blood alcohol level of l·3 mg/100 ml was achieved. It was apparent that continued exposure would not have led to a significant increase in that level.
