推进素质教育改革英语教学模式--大学英语教学状况调查及对策思考

长期存在的“教而不会 ,学而不能”现象已成为中国大学英语“教”与“学”的尴尬和怪圈式的困扰。英语教学中的种种问题、盲点与误区既是多年来应试教育之因 ,又是其不良之果 ,英语教学改革势在必行。只有在教学中贯穿了为应用而教学的稳健作风、课堂教学与图书馆教学有机结合、教师指导与学生自我训练有机结合的教学法 ,才能充分有效地实现素质教育。

Investigation and Analysis of Problems in College English Teaching in China--Teaching Methodology, Teaching Patterns, Reform, Quality-Oriented Education

In China, English teachers and their students work hard and long on English, yet many students still have difficulty speaking and writing correct English after years' training. My investigation in a local university and analysis of its teachers' teaching methodology and students' ways of studying English is to probe into the causes of the problem of such perplexity universal in current college English teaching across the country.
