略论信仰

科学是人对物的理性认识,道德是人对人的价值选择.科学和道德的背后,都需要信仰的支撑.宗教的核心就是信仰.从科学的角度看,宗教信仰是虚幻的.但从人文的角度看,宗教信仰表达了某种严肃的终极关怀,即对生命存在和生命意义的终极关怀.无神论信仰理性地拒斥了神灵,但小心地看护着深层的人文关怀.因此,无神论教育应当科学与人文并重.如何艺术地处理终极关怀问题,是无神论信仰必须解决的重要课题.

On Belief

Science is man's reasonable recognition of objects while morality is man's choice of his value. Both science and morality need the prop of belief. Belief is the core of religion. Considered from the aspect of science, religious belief is illusory; but considered from the aspect of humanism, religious belief shows a certain sincere and ultimate concern of the existence and significance of life. The belief in atheism rationally refuses the gods but cautiously keeps the deep humanism concern. Thus the education of atheism should lay equal emphasis on science and humanism, and how to skillfully deal with the ultimate concern is an important problem that atheism belief has to solve.
