| Abstract: | This article puts forth a detailed analysis of Mao Zedong's modernization thought.Although Mao seeked for China's modernization,this pursuit was often entangled by both traditional agricultural civilization and idealist socialism,and implied deep contradiction either in dynamic or static sense,hence thwarted China's modernization process in Maoist era. |
