先秦时期的赵国,其法律制度的建设有极其深远的渊源可寻,可以说,它的创立和完善是与赵氏基业的开拓和壮大同步进行的.不论从巩固统治、增强国力的角度出发,还是为了适应对外战争的需要,法律制度都是统治者亟需解决的问题之一,因为它所提供的保障是无可替代、不可或缺的.法制建设为赵国的开疆拓土、强兵富国发挥了自己应有的作用.然而,这种状况未能贯彻始终,赵国国君对法律的横加干涉终于使之失去了应有的尊严,最终导致国力的衰弱.

On the Legal System of the State of Zhao in Pre-Qin Period

Zhao,one state in the Pre-Qin period,was characterized by far-reaching origins in the construction of its legal system.The establishment and completion of legal system were developing with Zhao's opening-up and strengthening simultaneously.No matter from the point of consolidating governing or meeting the need of defending foreign aggression,the establishment of legal system was one of the urgent problems needing solving for the ruler.Because the power of guarantee legal system offered was irreplaceable and indispensable.The construction of legal system played an important role for Zhao's exploiting the boundary and strengthening its power.However,unfortunately it failed to retain to the end.Monarch's peremptory interference in the law leaded to the final loss of the dignity and the decline of national power.
