中国传统廉政文化要求为官者以道德操守为重。为官者应具备的道德操守主要包括四个方面:以清正廉洁为要、以忠君爱国为首、以爱民利民为本、以戒奢从俭为先。中国传统社会中一批具有远见卓识的政治家和思想家,以及清廉勤勉的清官廉吏代表,他们所倡导与表现出的清正廉洁、为国爱民、戒奢从俭的道德操守,值得当下广大党员领导干部思考与学习。

Moral Integrity Possessed by the Officials in the Traditional Anti-corruption Culture

Chinese traditional anti-corruption culture requires officials to pay much attention to moral integrity. The virtues which should be possessed by an official contain four aspects. With the top priority of being loyal to his country and people, he must be honest and upright, faithfully conduct the fundamental principle of loving the people and restrain himself from being luxurious. In traditional Chinese society, there appear a group of statesmen and thinkers who have foresight in politics and dili- gence in practice. They take actions under the spirit of Chinese traditional anti-corruption culture. The virtues mentioned above deserve our profound thoughts particularly to Party members and are offered here to mirror all of us.
