极权主义何以是一种伦理的“恶”——与齐泽克一起聆听“极权主义的笑声”

Why Is Totalitarianism Tantamount to Ethical "Evil"? ——Listening to "Totalitarian Laughter" with Zizek

Zizek’s analyses of "genocide" and "sham trial" indicate that the "ethical evil" of totalitarianism is invariably shrouded with indisputable "moral command".From the perspective of the seemingly simple yet substantially profound theory of Lacanian psychoanalysis,the secret of totalitarianism lies in the fact that the "actuality sphere of impossibility" is resided by hidden paradox on the seams of ideology,namely the "immorality" of ethics.The Zizek-Lacan paradigm of "fourth ethics" has been pre-conditioned with a "driving-force-based ethics" and a "post-revolutionary" stance of reconciliation.It does not provide the "dagger" to behead the monstrous totalitarian "dragon",and its desperately desired "totalitarian laughter" is more akin to the so-called "Climbing-over-wall technique": since the problem we face is how to avoid the ultimate and the most fatal trap,the most important thing then would be to "clime over" the totalitarian "wall" by maintaining the life force of desires and continuing resistance against Other’s desires.
