Institution:Nathaniel J. Pallone is University Distinguished Professor (Psychology), Center of Alcohol Studies, at Rutgers—The State University of New Jersey, where he previously served as Dean and as Academic Vice President. A Fellow of the American Psychological Association and a Diplomate of the American Board of Professional Psychology, he serves as Executive Editor of Current Psychology;, an international scholarly quarterly, and Editor-in-Chief of the Journal of Offender Rehabilitation, a professional quarterly for mental health personnel in jails, prisons, and community agencies. His most recent books are Love, Romance, Sexual Interaction (Transaction Publishers) and Treating Drug Abusers in Correctional Contexts (Haworth). Since 1975, he has served as a member (and for 23 years as Chairperson) of the Classification Review Board for Sex Offenders in the New Jersey Department of Corrections, a statutory "dangerousness review" body.
