苏州经验：经济驱动型现代化与和谐社会构建

苏州在率先基本实现现代化进程中所实践的经济驱动型现代化，本质上要求实现经济的现代化，以经济现代化驱动全面现代化。苏州的实践主要体现为：推进经济转型升级，构建现代化产业体系；加速一体化的步伐，形成经济发展新动力；经济驱动社会民生，共同构建和谐社会。苏州实践的经济驱动型现代化是对后发现代化理论的深化与发展，对于当前我国基本实现现代化进程具有启示意义：经济的现代化是后发现代化的基石；后发国家的政府要在制度供给上起主导作用；经济现代化要与社会民生建设协调共进，协同建构和谐社会。

The Modernization by Economic Drive and Construction of Harmonious Society from the Experience of Suzhou

The practice of the modernization by economic drive in process of taking the lead in realizing basic modernization in Suzhou which requires the modernization of economy in essence and drives modernization in all- round way through economic modernization.The practice in Suzhou including that promoting economic transformation and upgrading and constructing modern industrial system, accelerating the pace of integration and develop a new pattern of economic, building society and livelihood of people by economic drive and constructing harmonious society.This is the development of the theory of modernization of late-development country and offers enlightenment for the practice of realizing basic modernization in China： the economic modernization is the cornerstone of late- modernization and government should play a leading role in the institutional supply, and economic modernization must be coordinated with the building of society and livelihood of people to construct the harmonious society together.
