先秦儒家在"名实相怨"社会背景下的正名思想体现着浓厚的社会治理和政治伦理主张,无论是孔子的"为政必先正名",还是荀子的"正名",都离不开"明分使群"和"隆礼重法",都不同程度地以社会和谐为自己的价值取向。名实相怨和正名一般都是在社会制度发生重大转折、社会经济和政治体制剧烈转型、吏治腐败和荣辱观混乱的社会不和谐时期成为人们关注的焦点。正名与社会和谐的形成有着内在的联系:正名通过正德促成社会和谐;通过德政保障社会和谐;通过净化社会风气巩固社会和谐。     

荀子辩学思想探析

在“辩即逻辑”的传统研究模式中，荀子的辩学思想遭到曲解。在《正名》中，荀子具体论述了辩论的起因、实质和种类，探讨了辩论的原则和要求，并提出了破斥“三惑”的方法，不能把荀子的辩学等同于形式逻辑。
