Traditional Town,Trendy Taste

At the age of 15, Sun Wenqiang first dipped his spoons into the world of cooking under the watchful eye of a senior chef specializing in cooking dishes of Huaian cuisine, which originated from Huaian, Jiangsu Province in east China, but is popular far beyond its birthplace. Having been a chef for 15 years and tasted numerous palates unique to the places he has come across, Sun, now an executive chef at local restaurant chain Ancient Huaian, believes that the essence of a fine dish lies not only in its taste, but also in its history.

China's WTO Negotiation Process and its Implications

China's GATT/WTO accession process has been dynamic and complex, affected by the broad political and economic factors at both the international and the domestic levels, and by a complex intertwining of bilateral and multilateral negotiations. This paper attempts to review this 15-year-long negotiation by focusing on the correlation and interaction between three variables--international factors, bureaucratic politics, and societal factors--and the negotiation process. Among them, the author identifies the first two variables as the primary factors shaping negotiation positions, strategies and outcomes, while societal factors such as Congress, interest groups and the public media are also worth noting. They played a minor but growing role in China to affect the ebb and flow of the negotiation process. Furthermore, they functioned differently in the West and in China and these differences themselves also contributed to influencing the negotiation process.

从国家社科基金资助情况看中国女性研究的发展态势

中国的女性研究起步较晚,但在众多学者的关注和国家社科基金等的支持下,取得了较大的发展。本文通过对1993-2007年批准立项的国家社科基金有关女性项目进行归类统计,运用文献分析的方法,分析国家社科基金女性研究项目的时空分布、学科类别、研究内容、研究成果、承担单位和主持人性别等方面的特征,以此反映近15年来中国女性研究的学术轨迹,旨在为中国女性研究学者了解和把握中国女性研究的热点和发展趋势及申请相关基金项目提供参考。     

粘有纸张的胶带剥离同时显现胶黏面指纹

为了更好地解决粘贴在普通A4纸上的胶带剥离与胶粘面指纹同时显现问题,本文对不同剥离试剂的剥离效果、不同显现试剂的显现效果以及不同胶粘面汗潜指纹遗留时间的影响进行了比较。实验结果表明,丙酮与无水乙醇按照1:10混合而成的试剂剥离效果最好;聚乙二醇和上海牌214型碳素墨水按照1:15混合而成的试剂显现效果最好;遗留5-7天的胶粘面汗潜指纹经染色2次后显现效果最佳,10-20天的实验样本经染色3次后显现效果最佳。     

负重对足迹质量的影响

从100组立体足迹捺印样本中抽取10组进行数据统计和形态分析,分别以背负、抱负、单手体侧提、双手体前提的姿态负重15公斤进行捺印取样,并测量其步幅特征及步态特征;再分别以背负、抱负、单手体侧提、双手体前提的姿态负重5公斤-20公斤进行捺印取样并测量其步幅特征及步态特征。通过对以上数据的分析、总结,发现负荷重量的变化及负重的方式的改变会对足迹的步幅特征和步态特征产生不同的影响。在实验中发现这种变化,还受到个体力量差异、行走习惯等因素的影响。

A SIGNAL OF UNITY

Healthy Families America effectiveness: a comprehensive review of outcomes

This paper reviews 33 evaluations of Healthy Families America sites, with emphasis on 15 studies that include a control or comparison group. Outcome domains include child health and development, maternal life course, parenting, and child maltreatment. Parenting outcomes (e.g., parenting attitudes) show the most consistent positive impacts. Mixed results in other domains indicate the need for in-depth research to identify factors associated with better outcomes. Several factors that may contribute to differences in outcomes are discussed, including site implementation and quality, differences in family risk levels, and recent augmentations to program design. The paper also highlights two large-scale evaluations, one community-wide (Hampton, Virginia) and one statewide (Indiana), to illustrate exemplary evaluation approaches found in HFA research. Overall, HFA's continuing evolution has been positively impacted by researcher-practitioner partnerships.     

水果中亚硝酸盐含量的测定及分析

采用盐酸萘乙二胺法对市场所售的苹果、香蕉、甜梨、橙子、桔子等15种水果中亚硝酸盐的含量进行分析测定。结果表明,15种水果中均含有亚硝酸盐,其中亚硝酸盐含量最低的是柚子,最高的是西瓜。由于国家尚未出台水果中亚硝酸盐残留量的标准,参考中华人民共和国国家标准GB/T18406.1-2001对蔬菜中亚硝酸盐含量做出的限量要求:NaNO2≤4.0(mg/kg),可知,15种水果中,西瓜、特小凤西瓜、甜梨、烟台梨亚硝酸盐超标,其它水果亚硝酸盐含量较低。15种水果中亚硝酸盐含量的特点是,南方水果中亚硝酸盐含量普遍低于北方水果,尤其是柑橘类水果亚硝酸盐含量都很低。     

论我国经济增长思想的创造性改进

党的十五大首次明确提出“转变经济增长方式”;在党的十七大上提出“加快转变经济发展方式,推动产业结构优化升级”,强调从主要依靠单纯CDP的增长向可持续发展、生态平衡和和谐社会三者相协调的发展方向转变;在党的十七届五中全会上,提出“包容性增长”理念。这一系列经济增长思想是在符合我国现今发展阶段的国情下提出的。其不仅强调生产关系中分配方式的转变,更强调在“包容性增长”下,人与人的交往、国与国的协调,使经济发展的成果惠及所有人所有国家,使所有社会成员和国际成员都充分享受到经济发展带来的好处。     

RCEP: Building Bridges,Not Walls

The parliamentary ratification of the Regional Comprehensive Economic Partnership (RCEP) agreement by 10 signatory states has finally set the world's biggest ever free trade bloc into motion, albeit only among the ratifying na-tions, on January 1, 2022. Six Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) member states, namely Brunei, Cambodia, Laos, Singapore, Thailand and Viet Nam, as well as Australia, China, Japan and New Zealand, have completed the ratification procedures. The RCEP was also signed by another four ASEAN members, namely Indonesia, Malaysia, Myanmar and the Philippines, as well as the Republic of Korea (ROK). Once in full effect, it will cover approximately 30 percent of the world's population and one third of global GDP. The agreement manifests the firm commitment of all 15 signatory economies in the Asia-Pacific region to upholding an open, inclusive and rules-based multilateral trading system. Its implementation is particularly timely for the region as its economies struggle to recover from the impacts of COVID-19 and rising trends of de-globalization.
