我国是一个多民族的国家,民族和谐是社会和谐的基础。胡锦涛总书记在党的十七大报告中指出,＂民族关系的和谐,对于增进团结、凝聚力量具有不可替代的作用,必须巩固和发展平等、团结、互助、和谐的社会主义民族关系”。可以说民族关系是多民族国家内部最重要、最特殊的社会关系,和谐的民族关系是构建和谐社会的必然要求和前提基础,没有和谐的民族关系,构建和谐社会就无从谈起。     

试论城市化进程中的民族关系及其评价指标体系

社会主义民族关系的建立,是民族关系史上的一次伟大转折,同时,社会主义时期,又是新型民族关系不断得到巩固和发展的时期。平等、团结、互助、和谐,各民族共同发展繁荣,是社会主义民族关系的本质特征,也是其重要目标指向。现阶段,城市化与新型民族关系的发展具有时代的同步性,在城市化推动下,经过"矛盾冲突多发期"与"和谐相处稳定期",走向"融和",是社会主义民族关系发展的总趋势。应从"民族平等度、民族团结度、民族互助合作度、民族和谐度、民族发展度"五方面建立指标体系,来监测城市化过程中民族关系的发展进程。
