As a medium between two different languages, between peoples of two countries, translation is not only a matter of language, but also of cross-cultural transference. According to Professor He Ziran, socio-pragmatic translation is the kind of translation which examines the conditions on language use that stem from the social and cultural situations to serve cross-cultural communication. This paper focuses on the ways used to achieve socio-pragmatic equivalence in translation practice. 相似文献
