| Abstract: | As a ruling party, how our Party exercises its correct leadership has become a key issue in developing Marxist theory on the Party building. Mao Zedong and Deng Xiaoping differed in their views and methods as to building up the Party's authority, setting its content of leadership and exercising its leading functions. Therefore, it is of great significance to our seeking the laws of the Party' s leadership by comparing Mao Zedong's and Deng Xiaoping's ideas about the ruling party's leadership. |
