On the Cause of the Decline of the Formalism of the Roman Law

In the early formalism Roman Law, the legal act must be conducted by the form,otherwise,it was illegal,so the form was important than the substance to the early Roman Law.While with the Roman society developing,the formalism of the Roman Law was on the wane. The article approaches the causes from the social development in Rome,the influence of natural Law on the Roman Law and the spirit of Roman pragmatism.
