谭云山的大同思想及其对印度、中国教育事业的贡献

谭云山不仅是一位成就卓著的著名学者、杰出的中印友好使者，并且是一位成功的教育家。谭云山一生有两大目的：一是促进中印两大文明之间的友谊与了解，二是办教育。谭云山曾经在新加坡、马来西亚、印度和中国等地从事教育工作。这与他的大同理想有着密切的关系。他的大同理想一方面来源于孔子、康有为和孙中山等人的大同思想，另一方面也受到印度文化、佛教文化的影响。作为最主要的筹办人之一，他协助泰戈尔创办了中印学会和印度国际大学中国学院，并担任中国学院首任院长。中国抗日战争胜利后，谭云山、陈乃蔚夫妇回到祖国，在湖南长沙捐资创办了大同学校。谭云山的大同思想至今仍影响着印度、中国的教育工作者，激励两国的青年人致力于中印友好工作。
