基于武汉城市圈高等教育发展不平衡的现状,以均衡发展的视角分析了武汉城市圈区域高等教育的发展情况,认为武汉城市圈高等教育系统的均衡发展,需要东、中、西三区域高等教育子系统形成"三核联动"的发展模式,逐步缩小区域间的高等教育引力强度差,拉近区域间的高等教育实力。     

和谐社会建设与区域高等教育发展的价值取向

高等教育发展中的价值取向是多元的，是“知识价值取向”、“个体价值取向”与“社会价值取向”的并存。本文在明确区域高等教育价值取向理想与现实的基础上，力求从认识论上实现“知识价值”、“个体价值”与“社会价值”的统一与融合，从实践论中探索区域高等教育的均衡发展。这是新时期发展区域高等教育，建设社会主义和谐社会的重要内容。

中部地区高等教育对经济增长的实证

分析经济增长中高等教育发展的驱动因素,对制定高等教育发展规划,提高经济增长中的人力资本贡献率具有重要的理论和现实意义。本文运用1995-2008年中部地区的六省的面板数据,实证分析了高等教育发展对经济增长的影响。研究发现,高等教育发展对中部六省的经济增长具有加速效应,推动了地区经济的增长,但其加速效应并不显著。
